remove glove box by unscrewing limit strut, then squeeze sides of glovebox together and pull out towards you. You should be able to see the blower. clean the in cabin air filter while you are there. instructions are in your owners manual. let me know if this helped.

My air/ heat blower only works on "HI" on my 2004 vibe. I do get cold/ hot air, but only on HI

your "blower resistor" is bad. Its not hard to replace, near the blower motor, get it from the dealer.

AC and Heat only work on hi

Might be the Resistor pack located close to the blower. It has a flat connector with 4 or 5 wires, and two small screws holding in the duct. It may be a crispy critter. It happens... The blower moves air across it to keep it cool. The blower motor may be bad as well, or possibly the fan speed switch. May very well be the fuse for the blower as well. The blower connector may be loose. Let me know what you find.

The ac blower doesn't work unless you hit the dash. Now its not blowing at all

Yes.. the old hitting the dash repair! I like it!... Sorry. apparently there is a loose or faulty connection near the environmental control unit that you attempt to repair while driving. Someone with a knowledge of electrical repair and dashboard/console removal should look at this for you. Those simulated luxury panels cannot take that abuse!
Good luck

Air conditioning and blower stopped working, all fuses checked good.Is there a common feed to these two circuits?

The answer is that there is dirt dust and fuzz built up in the brushes of the blower motor. Had to figure this one out myself. Remove glove box, carefully disassemble bottom of blower motor, remove brush cap and brushes clean up mess and reassemble. Not for a novice but if you're a thinker you can figure it out. Mine has worked every time since. The Pontiac guys had no clue wanted to replace motor.

I had a similar problem. It'd do a whir/thump routine. There's a motor that opens a door - I think it opens to allow cabin air to recirculate. It would get to the point where it should stop but seemed to "thump" over the stop point. I opened the door and unplugged the motor. Guess, I really didn't fix it. Do like my sister and turn up the radio. Good luck.

2004 Pontiac Vibe remote lock on driver door malfunctioning

notorious done if before, remove the door panel. BE CAREFUL WITH BEAUTY CAPS, CAN BE EASILY BROKEN (PLASTIC) when you remove the door panel go ahead and closed the driver door and activate the door lock button. you will see the bracket is either loose or it off. it looks the a coat hanger when you stretch it out. Reconnect it and lithium grease, test it and its a wrap.
