Your battery is either out of water, dirty terminals, or dead. Check out the water level first, then check the connections, make sure they are clean, and then if it is dead, check the electrolytes in the cells, and the voltage, it has to maintain 13v+ at all times. You can take it to walmart, they will check it for you , and sell you a new one, you won't have to mess with it. Hope this helps.
Have you tried to jump start it? Are the cables at the battery clean and tight? If no corrosion at tight connections, then this sounds like a battery problem (low charge, or shot). Lights, radio, etc may work, but there isn't enough power in the battery to crank over the engine, resulting in the 'clicking' noise you mention. Pull the battery out, bring it to a parts store for a free check of its condition. If they tell you it's low charge problem, you may need an alternator, but most likely the battery is at the end of it's life.
