Low pressure too high in ac

If compressor is not kicking in, low pressure will be too high. If Compressor IS kicking on, orifice tube may be blocked, or compressor may be bad. You need a full manifold set to work on AC, not just the gauge that comes on a refill can.

Have a 1999 GMC Suburban with dual AC. AC blows and works fine in the back. Front blows but not cold

There is a actuator motor not working .The actuator motor moves the temp door,it is located on the bottom of the blower box, under the dash ,in the middle,it is a flat box, with three screws holding it on,change this out and the problem will be fixed. If this was at all helpful, please rate thank you.

2001 Chevy Suburban rear a/c warm front ice cold

I believe there is a expansion valve located on the back part of the air conditioner on the back right side i believe that could be the problem. I think if I am understanding you correctly, your back air is not as cool as it should be or not cold at all. Might want to check this. If I am not understanding you correctly please let me know again what your problem is.

AC Low Pressure location on 2004 Chevy Suburban

You find the AC low pressure at the top of the compressor, orientated toward you , facing the front of the vehicle. You can also follow the compressor line to reach the port.

The valve is covered a plastic cap covering it.
Near the compressor you find two ports, the high port and low port.

To find out which one is the low port, run the air conditioner for a couple of minutes withthe engine on.
Then turn off the care and touch the lines from compressor to the two ports covered with plastic caps. Only one of the pipes will be cold, the cold line will lead you to the low port.

Regards.

Front heater fan control switch gets hot and melts. Why?

this is an easy one, the blower motor is drawing to much current, this happens as they wear out, replace the blower motor aNd all will be well in chevy land.
