Question about Hyundai Elantra
P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction,,, I couldn't find an 885 code number, But I think it has to do with the tranny also. The first thing I would do is check the fluid, then the fuses, other than tearing out the transmission there is not much you can do. I would go to a tranny shop, not the dealer. If you could find another car like yours, or buy another computer at the junk yard, try that, the TCM is mounted on the wall next to the driver, usually, not positive where yours is, check it out.
