Cruise control comes on by itself. the cruise control kicks on by itself for about 20-30 sec then turns off. sometimes it happens right after I start the car before I put it in gear but usually while Im just driving.

I'd be checking fuses and realys. Who know's ur faulty relay could do something like that as well. If not then have your cuise control servo checked and replaced if necessary. check for loose connection or corroded connection. also make sure your switch is not half way in between on and off itself. good luck!

My cruise control will keep kicking out everytime I set it sometimes it will go for awhile and other times it will kick out every 2 sec's does it alot when it rains it seems.

check connections at cruise head in engine compartment, also check for vaccum leaks on engine, if everything looks good and there are no vaccum leaks then you may have bad cruise head or bad switchs or the wiring to switchs. good luck.

find the line to the cruise control and block it off amd the cruise control unit//put tapr over it..you night get a service engine soon but if if runs who cares! your getting closer to the problem! tty it and see if it works now..it could be a bad hose or or cruise control unit...blocking off the tube would sugest to me that is a bad cruise control and the computer senses a bad input probably from a leaking hose, try that and get back to me im curious,,and if it fixes it can i get a rating ..Thanks.

Have you recently had any brake work done? I had a 05' freestyle that did the same thing.. when you tap the brake the cruise kicks off right? so if your brake pedal is sticking or not returning fully to the up position, the cruise will immediately kick off like you applied the brake. Check to see if your brake lights are staying on when you release the brake. Let me know what happens, please and good luck.
