SOURCE: 2005 Hyundai XG350L Fuel Filter

Hi there,
If you can get under the car just head to the petrol tank and look for the lines running to and from the tank,
There should be several thin copper looking metal tubes running from the tank to the engine bay,
Generally somehwere along that line should be the fuel canister that should look almost the same as your new one,
Its then a simple process of unscrewing the old one and screwing in the new one, Be aware not to use any sort of flame light ie lighter when under there as fuel will run out when you remove the old one. If its not under ther then it will be mounted in the engine bayas before just follow those tubes.
You may need to turn the igition on and off a few times once installed to prime the lines if the car does not automatically do this.
If it still wont start try pumping the gas/accelerator once or twice,
Be carefull not to flood the car and you should be away.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Steve

The transmission filter is inside the transmission. You have to drain out the oil and remove the transmission pan and gasket. The filter is made of metal guaze and is screwed/bolted to the underneath of the valve body.

most all transmission filters that id ever seen on a car or light truck are inside the transmission , they don't look like your avg filter to an avg joe. , unless your a super do it your selfer id generally not advise a avg joe try and replace one themselves it can be very messy !! as there's just no simple way of not dumping the entire contents of the transmission oil out to getting to it , this can be like five to nine quarts of scalding hot oil if you drove it (ouch!) , wont look too well for that to run over your floor 4 sure !!!
most of those quickie lube places can do this 4 you at a reasonable rate

INEED TO KNOW THE LOCATION OF THE OIL FILTER FOR A 2005 HYUNDAI

Forward on the engine, left hand side. Since the Tucson has a engine 'under-cover' shield, the shield must be removed to access the oil filter (5 12mm bolts & two plastic spread retainers).

My Hyundai Tucson 2.0 CRDi will not start after a night of frost (generally below -5 C) and I have been told it is due to condensation freezing in the fuel filter. Is there a simple solution, other than...

will try to help. and yes there is help. you'll need to add an additive to your fuel. but 1st. how longs it been since you've had that fuel filter changed? it may have a small ammount of water in it thats causing your problem. the temp. drops and water in fuel filter freezes and then no start until it thaws. sound about right to you? i suggest you have that fuel filter changed 1st. but if you have to, you can buy an additive to keep your fuel lines from freezing at any auto parts store. just explain to the clerk what you want and thay will direct you to the product you need.
