If you think about what happened, then you should know that damage has been done,i would say the steering has been damaged and possiably other damage to the under carriage but sounds more steering as it is the weakest link.adrian,,,,,,

We have a 2006 Kia Spectra, the car was in a minor fender bender ( rear passenger side) and now the door locks keep clicking. The remote still locks the doors and they stay locked. If you lock them from...

The linkages or inside the door panel may have come off on the door lock. The best way to check the problem is to remove the panels and simulate the locking of the doors. You should see if there are parts that may have come off or had loosened up.

How do you know when the front bearings are worn out on a 2000 ford mustang and does the bearing come separately from the hub when u replace it?

If you jack up the car, grab the wheel at the top and the bottom and see if there is any play while trying to pull the top of the tire towards and away from you. The bearing comes on the hub and has the ABS ring mounted to it also.drsinister69_0.jpg

Brakes have locked up after having to hit them hard to avoid a crash. Now they smell and make the car bounce after hitting 45 mph.

sounds like to problems did you actually hit some thing? if not the burnt smell should go away. about the bounce at 45 mph are you sure that it's not a shake and does it go away at 55 mph or different speed? if this is whats happening the front tire is out of balance weight could have fallen off. try this
