Look closely for the screws underneath the park lamp lense, they may be behind a little plastic or rubber strip which runs the length of the lamps. good luck

Dashlights out/running lights out 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Replaced headlight switch no luck all fuses are good too

Running / Park Lamps are controlled by a BCM body control module and park lamp relay ,located in the junction block . The dash lights are also controlled by BCM . The BCM receive a voltage input from the headlamp switch ,then it turns on a driver (transistor) that turns on the dash lights . Before getting to involved and taking the dash apart looking for the BCM , Have it check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the BCM . Your going to have to take to a repair shop for that . Your best bet would be to take it to a qualified repair anyway .

I have a 2004 Jeep grand cherokee straight six. I replaced the TPS sensor & IAC sensor. recently experienced high idle while in park, lack of power, and engine light came on with a code of P0121? ...

Depending on the system, P0121 is Throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A circuit range/ performance problem.

Did the TPS have slotted mounting holes? If so it may need to be adjusted.

The dash lights are not working in my 1996 Jeep Cherokee. How do I fix this problem?

Had same problem with my 1996 Jeep, fuse 25 kept blowing. It was a short circuit in the transmission selector case. Seems to be a design fault where the wires for the light there, cross over a steel bar and get worn down every time you move the selector from park to drive and back. Bit of elect' tape fixed it.

Where is the fuse for the tail lights for jeep '96 grand cherokee

Unfortunately, could not find owners manual for 1996.

Website only has models 2004-current
=> http://www.jeep.com/en/owners/manuals/index.html

There are two fuse boxes. One under driver compartment usually left to the steering colum. A label is stamp to identify each fuse. I would look at Park Lights and Instrument Cluster fuses. The easy way is to take a flashlight and look at all fuses. If they are all okay. Then just remove the Park Lights and Instrument Cluster fuse and reseat them. The other fuse box is under the hood and near the batter. It also has a label to identify each fuse.

96 grand jeep cherokee is jammed into park

the simple fix might be the park interlock cable. this locks the shifter unless you press and hold the brake pedal while selecting gears. I've seen and replaced a few of these on several chrysler/dodge vehicles.
