You do not remove the battery cable to clear data

You use a codes reader or scan tool

What that does is clears all your monitors & most
data that has to be relearned

You need to check out why you got the PO420 Converter
Code

Start by looking at fuel trim, cat temp & make sure the spark
plugs are changed every 3 years & you have no cylinder misfires
or fuel control issues & MAF reading are good for your altitude

Could be you never replaced slow & worn out O2 Sensors
at 100,000 miles

Can't tell if what your describing was there before or after the work your did or is even related to engine performance

Do I have to change a filter when I flush the transmission?

It is recommended by most filter companies and some car companies to change the filter at 100,000 miles. I recommend doing it at 50,000 miles.
Flushing the fluid either replaces it or filters it and puts it back in. Either way the filter still has dirt in it.
It should tell you in t he owners manual and on the dipstick what fluid is recommended.

How to replace pressure control solenoid p2616 toyota matrix 2007

You may not have to replace it yourself. I hope your car is under 80,000-100,000 miles there was a recall issued for that problem.
P2716 is caused by a bad Ecm, (engine control module,) Toyota has an upgraded ECM for this and are warrantying these for 8 years or 80k miles, Take it to the dealer and have them replace it for you, there should be no charge if the vehicle is under 80k miles according to service bulletin (41554a).

I also have a 2002 Jetta 1.8t and my ****** is slipping. It is also showing the fault code PO730. Do you have any details to the fix you described of pulling the side cover and replacing burnt up clutches?...

the code stands for UNDIFINED RATIO PROBLEM which means most likely the clutch facings are well worn. Remove the trans pan, drain, and inspect for shavings in the fluid. If there have a pro look at your fluid. It may have metallic shavings in it as well which means other worn parts in the trans

How do you know when youneed a tune up on a 2001ford taurus

Owner's manula will specify what needs to be done and when under the maintence chart. Newer cars generally go 60,000 to 100,000 miles before needing to replace the spark plugs. On most cars that is about all you do besides changing the oil (generally every 3,000 mile). Read the owner's manual and don't let a shop or a dealer sell you on the idea of speeding up the maintenance schedule (replacing things at 60,000 when the manual says to wait until 100,000).

You have 100,000 miles before you have to replace the spark plugs or there is an issue that the cars ECM will indicate. You can get the step by step instructions at Auto Zone where you can buy the replacement spark plugs.

I have received a Toyota Corolla 2007 maintenance code P2716 and wonder what this means?

Hello; welcome to FixYa.

The P-2716 code you speak of is a problem in the logic (programming) in the car's Computer, or ECM.

Toyota is aware of this issue, and have issued a Technical Service Bulletin regarding that DTC Code; P-2716.

If your car is under 80,000 miles, Toyota will replace the ECM for you, for FREE. The ECM has an 8-year/80,000 mile warranty.

We here at FxYa hope this helps you out.
Thanks for choosing FixYa for advice!

Check Engine Light came on while driving. No

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The check engine light is on because ECM (Control Module) detected a fault with your car's system. ECM has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and your car needs to be looked at. You'll need to get the codes checked from a nearby dealer/mechanic. Please revert with the codes so that I can tell you where exactly the issue is.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee
