Question about 2004 Suzuki Verona

2 Answers

Purchased a Suzuki Verona 2003 three years ago, and the car has been stalling and stalling and stalling and stalling for the last two years now. I have replaced o2 sensors at least 4 sensors in all and was told ECM was replaced at 4600 miles now has 68000 but purchased with 58000 three years ago. Have also had to replace rear passenger and rear driver side control arm in the car due to a clunking noise that I keep hearing when you hit a bump. Now told need PMC needs replaced. Told by mechanic to trade in and take loss. I cannot afford to take that much loss on what I owe on vehicle they will not give me. What options do I have is to keep sinking money into this pit on repairs then I am being told.

Honestly, I would rig the car to drive itself off a cliff. Mine has given me so many problems in the past 6mos I've owned it that I've contemplated doing just that. Even named the car "Christine" because it's death on wheels. Seriously though, I would take the loss. You'll end up spending more keeping the damn thing. :-/

What the problem with my 2005 suzuki verona stalling while driving

It could be the fuel pump or a sensor.
The easiest way - and the cheapest, really - take it to a workshop for a diagnostic check. Let them identify the fault.

If you yourself begin changing sensors etc .. in the hope that you'll cure the problem, it's more than likely you'll buy and fit parts that aren't needed.

While i am driving my car shut off itself

you mean the engine stalled.
the cars computer does all it can to sustain running
when it can not for 100 reasons, it stalls.
it stalls for this list of macro reason. (no order)
1: EGR stuck open
2: poor engine compression
3: bad spark or timed wrong.
4: bad fueling. too rich or too lean,. can stall any engine.
even actual bad gasoline. can happen.
5: loss of idle air supply.
except clean EGR /ISC each path requires tests and tools.
got tools, got money for tools, go the time? then get to a shop.

Just need to know what type to buy as far as trans fluid for 2004 Suzuki Verona?

ESSO LT71141 or TOTAL ATF H50235 Can only be purchased at your local Suzuki dealer as far as I know. But you for sure do want to use the correct fluid so get that fluid and nothing else.

I have a 2004 Suzuki Verona and at 40,000 the engine began missing. The original spark plugs were NGK BKUR6ET. The auto parts store indicated the NGK plugs were not available and switched me to some Densa...

Hi There,

Want the problem is not the spark plugs. You might need a new engine. The cylinders will get mark up, ruin the rings, start using oil, and then start miss firing.
First see if there is any codes in the engine computer. Throttle body might be dirty and needs to be clean. Now that car should be still under the 7 year 100,000 mile warrentry. If it needs a engine, that will be cover. But it depends when the first date of sale was. As for the other things, that will come out of your pocket. If you don't have a Suzuki dealer close by, send me an e-mail at with the complete vin number and I can look it up for you, Write vin in the subject line, DOn
