Check the head lamps, they could still be blown out, but, the most likely problem is the dimmer switch, even though it clicks, this does not mean it is good. The head lamps maybe blown,so check voltage at the connector at the headlight bulb, when the low beam is supposed to be on,if there is no voltage at the headlight connector, then the dimmer switch is bad.

2007 chev sub head lights wont turn on

Do you know anything about automotive electronics ? Electronic control modules .
Headlamp ON/OFF control is determined by the body control module (BCM) by a signal on the headlamp switch on input circuit when the headlamp switch is in the HEAD position. When the headlamp switch is in the AUTO position, the BCM determines headlamps ON/OFF by the voltage from the ambient light sensor.
If the headlight switch is left in the ON position, the inadvertent power control feature will turn OFF the headlights approximately 10 minutes after the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position. If the driver places the headlight switch in the ON position after the ignition switch has been turned OFF, or if the ignition switch is in the ACCY position, the headlights will remain ON until turned OFF or the battery runs dead.
The high beam indicator is illuminated when the instrument cluster receives a GMLAN serial data message from the BCM that the high beams are illuminated.
High Beams
The high beam headlamps receive voltage from the headlamp high relay located in the underhood fuse block. The BCM controls the relay on the headlamp high beam relay control circuit. High beam control is determined by a signal on the headlamp dimmer switch signal circuit from the multifunction switch. When the headlamp dimmer switch signal circuit is grounded, the BCM grounds the headlamp high beam relay control circuit, illuminating the high beam headlamps. The right and left high beam circuits are independent and are fused independently in the underhood fuse block.
Low Beams - Standard
The low beam headlamps receive voltage from the headlamp low beam relay located in the underhood fuse block. The BCM controls the relay on the headlamp low beam relay control circuit. Low beam control is determined by a signal on the headlamp dimmer switch signal circuit from the multifunction switch. When the headlamp dimmer switch signal circuit is open, the BCM grounds the headlamp low beam relay control circuit, illuminating the low beam headlamps. The right and left low beam circuits are independent are fused independently in the underhood fuse block.

Hooking up a factory scan tool an checking DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes would be the very first step in trouble shooting this problem .

Where is the headlamp relay on a 2007 saturn ion

Are both low beams an high beams not working ? What engine does your car have ? Low beam relay only on 2.2 L .
On vehicles with manual headlamps, the LH HDLP and RH HDLP fuse in the fuse block - under hood, supply battery positive voltage to both low beam lamps and high beam lamps at all times. The low beam and high beam circuits continue through the fuse block - under hood, through the body control module (BCM), and to the headlamp switch. The low beam or high beam circuit then, depending on the position of the dimmer switch, continues through the headlamp switch. When the headlamp switch is placed in the ON position, it provides a ground path for the low beam or high beam lamps through G203. The low beam and high beam circuits are monitored by the BCM.
Is there B+ voltage at the headlamp fuse's ? Power runs from fuse through the head lamps to the dimmer switch through the head lamp switch to ground when turned on . If there is B+ voltage at the fuse ,check for voltage at the headlamp switch .

Low beams not working but high beams are on a 2000 chevy metro

The headlight relay provides power to the dimmer relay, then power goes thru a fuse for each light for each circuit (4). The low beam fuses are in fuse block 2. The dimmer relay is controlled by the daytime running light module. The headlight and dimmer switches send signals to the DRL module. You may need a shop manual to troubleshoot the circuits.

Where is the headlight relay in the 1998 jimmy? Low beams won't come onat night everything else does. high beams work

There is a headlight relay in the engine compartment fuse box, but its after the headlight switch and before the dimmer switch, so it powers both high and low beam circuits.
I would check the dimmer switch.

Is there any fuses or relays that are not in the fuse box on a 2002 buick rendezvousfor the bright lights

The high and low beam lights use the same power source, so if the low beams work the high beams have power.
There is a low and high beam relay controlled by the dimmer switch.
If the low beams work and the high beams don't, and the bulbs are good, check the dimmer switch and the high beam relay.

My low beams do not work. If I put on the high beams both the low and high beams are on.

Both highs and lows coming on when flipping to highs is normal. (You low beams are dual filament) Now low beam issue is either "lo beam fuse" in your fuse box or dimmer switch (switch used to flip between high/low beams. Check your fuses first, it their good then you need a new dimmer switch.

High beams don't work

......No other History, symptoms, clues, things already checked?
Would check the fuses and relay box
Would check the manual (haynes or ?), if separate relay(has contact points that can fail by repeated arc damage like a switch) for high beams, if so could potentially test by switching high relay with low or a test patch wire from battery to the high beam terminal of the relay.
...if not fuses or relays, then potentially the column light/dimmer stalk which is a much bigger pain...
...could also spray some electrical contact cleaner into the column dimmer/light stalk switch and see if any result.
...So, start with the headlights and work back toward the switch---verifying that can get each stage to cause the lights to function by bypassing direct to battery current source.
...hope may have helped
