Question about Nissan Altima
PVC is threaded into the intake manifold and looks like this;
Valve cover gaskets are known to need replacing over time and do wear out. if the PVC is clogged so badly that it prevents the engine from expelling crankcase gases, it could cause pressure to build and blow a cover gasket, but it will also cause other gaskets to leak also. It is rare for this to occur in any engine.
