Wrong spoiler installed on my new 2012 camaro.

This is tough. You are going to lose out no matter what is done. If you ever watched "Overhaulin" on TV, you see widespread use of body filler. The better method is to "Lead" the holes in. This is an ART.

Now to replace the fenders, if I am visualizing your car, would usually involve cutting off the rear quarterpanels. This is kind of drastic. If the Dealer would want to do that, he may be better off buying you a new car.

Your current car will not have a Factory undercoat process if the rear fenders are replaced. You already will not have a Factory paint job even for patching the 4 holes. But the body integrity from the Factory will remain by just filling in the 4 holes. If the underside of the holes are inside of your trunk, then road splashes and salt spray will not be a factor.

The Dealer is at a loss here even with patching holes. Replacing the fenders would cost thousands. It will still cost hundreds to patch the holes properly.

Good luck with this.

Transmission will not engage forward or reverse

If your shifter is moving the shifter cable and that is moving the link outside on top of the transaxle, your fluid level is ok and your halfshafts aren't pulled out of the housing. Try to disconnect one of the trans fluid cooler lines, start the car and see if you have a flow of fluid, (put a pan under it to catch fluid) if you have no fluid flow there is a big possibility that the shaft that drives the frt. pump from your torque converter is broken. It is a internal failure and can be repaired by purchasing the parts online, removing the side pan, the valve body and then inspecting the inner splines in the torque converter to make sure they are not stripped, checking the shaft, and making sure that the pump inside the valve body isn't destroyed (that's what usually ties up and breaks the shaft). If this is the problem and you have a qualified shop repair this problem in our area (45840)you would be looking at approx 400.00 parts purchased online as Ford wants in the 600.00 range just for the valve body and you would have approx 300.00-400.00 labor. This is pretty involved but any one with a real good mechanical background and a few special tools could do this although it's quite involved. If it took out the valve body you will want the valve body(comes with pump assy.), shaft, shaft seals, filter and mercon V fluid. If you purchase the valve body online it would be a good idea to purchase a new valve body gasket as most are reconditioned used items online and they reuse the valve body gasket and some are not in good enough condition to use without fear of a problem. We are a full service shop and I am a ASE master tech and have done plenty of these with good results. hope this helps

1994 Mercury Topaz Fender Removal

Harbor Freight and most local body shop supply stores should have a suction-cup type tool for pulling out dents. You maybe able to remove the inner fender well to get to the dent. To remove the fender, you'll need to remove the top fender bolts, the bolts that attach it to the header panel, and the bolts holding it on back by the door.

2002 Grand Am body parts

The official name would be the fender. The panel above the rear wheels are referred to as the quarter panels. You will probably pay a lot more money than you need to by ordering an OEM part online. I would call your local salvage yards and ask them if they have a fender off a similar car. I think the 1999-2005 parts are interchangeable. It will still need to be painted by a trusted paint shop but I still think you will save money and your son's car will still look real good!

1989 944 rear repair panels

The rear quarter panels on a car are typically welded on (as opposed to the front fenders which simply bolt on).

They are certainly available and any body shop will be able to order them for you new or used. They may also be able to repair your existing ones without a problem.
