My name is Will and I have a 1990 full size ford bronco XLT. And im having problems with it starting. It will turnover but has no fire. I have changed the coil already but it didn't help the problem. What else could cause this? Any knowledge or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hold gas pedal down start car

If this has a carburetor, look at the Power valve that is connected to the throttle lever. It is a small plate in front of the carb with a lever that moves with the throttle. There is a small rubber valve inside which allows gas to flow between chambers.

Another possibility is the fuel pump. After that, a bad Vacuum leak like from a ruptured EGR diaphragm can cause these problems.

I just had the same issue with my 88 xlt w/351 W it wound up being the MAP sensor and the timing. I would check both of these and see if it solves your issue.
