When engine warm up -car start jerking as you accelarate

Sounds like a basic cylinder miss-fire. Common issues are spark plugs, wires, coil, and fuel injectors,
is the check engine light on when the engine is running ?

My car dies when it get warm?

sounds like a your tie rod ends or ball joints are bad. as far as it turning off in gear means that the fuel injection is screwed up which means its a gas problem which is a intake problem with wrong fuel mixture or even a vacuum leak.

94 grand marquis driving at highway speed or up incline engine has intermittent power loss til i pull over then it runs fine. changed fuel filter and gas cap. engine codes are 172 and 176

Your codes indicate both sides of your engine are running lean. You may have success with a throttle position sensor. The TPS tells the engine how much fuel is wanted and to advance spark. It is behind the plastic ductwork, on the metal body called an airhorn. Usually on the drivers side. It has 2 screws and 1 electric plug and rides the butterfly flap outside the airhorn. Used to be $25.

I see you have codes and I can not tell you why it did not pull up the TPS. The alternative is to have someone check your fuel pump pressure.

Hesitation , skipping, engine cuts out when accelerating

Im having the same issue I believe. I have a 94\' Chevy 1500 and when i accelerate it will jerk like the gas has cut out but it wont stall. It just jerks and slows me down. It only seems to do it when going up a hill. I feel like it could be the fuel pump or possibly some intake gaskets?

It may be due to a failed/faulty fuel pressure regulator. I had this problem: easy start when cold, hard starting when warm/hot, and rotten egg smell from exhaust when warm/hot. My mechanic diagnosed a failed/faulty fuel pressure regulator, replaced it, and now the problems (warm hard start, smell) are gone. I have a '92 GT with L4 engine.
