They should be bolted to the floorpan, just use the correct socket or wrench and remove the bolts, and lift out of the car.

SOURCE: 2005 front (seats) removal
The seats are bolted down 2 in the front and 2 in the back, you may also have to disconnect a wiring harness if you have power seats, removal shouldn't take more than 20 min for both seats.

pull them all the way up and some models have a button inside or on the side to push in while removing in an upward thrust others may simply just with a bit of thrust will come right out very easily

you can remove the seats and you have to remove the seat belts and the side molding it's not that hard just a little more work if you need more information I'll be more then happy to help good luck

The switch need to be replaced. This is a common problem. Understand that he switch is the only breakpoint in that system. If the seat is getting hot without the switch being pressed, there is a short in the switch, thuis the necessary replacement.
