Question about Nissan Armada

1 Answer

My 2005 Nissan Armada Reverse sensor system is not working. The button stays in the "OFF" position no matter how many times I press the button. Also, periodically when driving, the brake light on the dashboard illuminates. At that point, when I press the brakes, there is a grumbling sound in the front of the vehicle and stopping becomes difficult. This problem, the sound and the light, goes away when I turn the ignition off and restart the vehicle (sometimes I have to start the vehicle 3 or 4 times to make it stop). The brakes are only 3 months old.

I have the same problem. I have a 2005 armada. I just went to Gillman Nissan in Rosenburg Texas today with the same thing, When you turn the vehicle off and turn it on again the problem goes away. I paid $241.00 to reset the VDC computer and I still have the problem. Also my backup camera just stopped working. This is my last Nissan auto. I am pissed!!

The condensor fan on my 2005 nissan armada won't

There is a recall on those fans. I would check with your closet Nissan dealership to see if you have an open recall on your truck.

2005 Nissan Armada will not go in reverse. The other gears work. Transmission fluid is ok.

It could be any number of things from minor to serious. This is something I would suggest taking to a transmission shop and not attempting repair yourself.

Rear sonar no sound when backing up, switch is lighting off.

More than likely it needs a new beeper. When the beeper fails the light on the sonar button will stay illuminated and the system obviously won't make any sound.

Airbag light stays on & blinks

that means than your air bag system must to be dignose w/ an scan toll and some times the blinking means the codes present in the system but have it diagnose by your mechanic because the air bag system will not operate in case you have an accident, but the vehicle is driveable just not safe in case of accident
