My Hyundai Accent 2005 CRDi cold starts perfectly, after running to few kms if i stop for a while say for 15 mins it doesn't starts at all. It require at least 1 hr to start it again.

You need to scan the ECM to see if there are any stored DTCs. Just guessing, it sounds like a bad cam or crank sensor. They can be temperamental when they get warmed up, if they are bad.

Hyundai Accent viva diesel

I think they are talking about a cv joint and no the entire shaft doesn't have to be replaced. There are shaft reconditioning shops that are less expensive and if you get one from a reputable shop will last a considerable time . Or you can get a shaft from the wreckers from a car that has been rear ended and possibly low mileage

U probably have a clogged catalitic convertor when bad they can cause this symptom take it to a muffler shop and have it looked at this usually cost about 300 to replace maybe cheaper if it doesn't have to be welded on good luck hope this helps

My huyndai crdi accent smokes excessively when i drive after the car was left parku=ig in the sun for an hour. Service center clened the silencer but the problem persists. help

well shows you how much they know ,your problem is the EGR valve ,its jammed open so what i would do is to pull the vacum,n pipe off the operating diaphragm ,and it that doesnt work then remove the vavlve body and make a seal type gasket with a coca cola can so its blocked off completely ,this will cure it

Why is my 1998 hyundai accent overheating?

The head gasket has gone so pressure builds up in the cooling system and forces water out of the overflow

You need someone to take the head off , skim it and fit a new gasket

My 1995 Hyundai Accent has been blowing white smoke, and I need to know if it would be worth the price to fix it?

White smoke is a blown head gasket, the engine has to come half apart, it's not a cheap fix. If it's a high milage car I wouldn't.( it'll possibly cost you over $1500.00 to fix)

first thing i need to know is did the timing belt break?
second is are you sure you aligned the timing marks and after the belt tensioner was tight you rechecked to make sure the timing stayed where you had it.
next step would be a compression check to if a valve was bent whenchanging the belt
i have seen this happen and this engine is an interferance engine.
later paul
