You have to take it to a dealer or a trusted mechanic. They will need to pull the tranny pan to drain it and replace the tranny filter also. There is no dipstick. Only a red fill cap on the right side of engine on top of tranny, it has a vent hose attached to it..

Depending on the transmission, one is squarish and I am told it is a GM type. This has a plug on the side of the transmission. You can open the plug with the appropriate metric allen wrench and put your little finger inside. If it touches liquid, there is enough. if the stuff on your finger is a bit dirty, not clean reddish, go somewhere and have them change the filter and fluid

Over revving in park and nutral on a 2l auto estate Nubira

Hi,

This is a problem with the "auto throttle control unit" (SilverwolfRA, yes aka - auto choke).

A car computer mechanic downloaded the info. from my 1999 Nubira and then adjusted as necessary. It didn't repair to complete (as new) functionality (as the unit is damaged?), but I'm happy with the result.

Brake pad change for 99 daewoo nubira cdx

I also have a 99 nubira, you should be able to do it with out a book...............they have disc all round and the general set up is the same front and back, If i remember rightly, wheel off, unbolt caliper from mount ( 2 bolts on back face ) pads simply pull off from bottom of mount, refit new pads ensuring same shape on as one that came off. open bonnet and take off cap to brake fluid, using suitable tool ( i used a large screw driver ) push both pistons back into rubber gaitor ( keeping a eye on level in brake fluid, as it will possibly overflow ). You should then be able to refit caliper back to mount. refit bolts, mop up any overflow and replace cap.........JOB DONE :) ........................remember, before you go out onto the road start the car and pump the foot brake a few times until the pedal goes firm again.

Hope this helps you. steve
