What reasons are there for a 1994 gmc sierra 1500 series not have any working low beams?

Bulbs or fuses are the first place to start. The next thing I would move onto would be the wiring harness. Clean out the coupler connections and make sure they are seated properly when you put them back. If you use a meter you can tell if you are getting 12 volts through the harness itself.

Wiring harness caught fire n i cant destinguish which wwires go to which components...relays, sensors, braking. lights, etc. are the relays run parallel, in series, singular? once wiring is hooked up how...

Its a long process. You actually have to verify each wire with a volt meter. The easier option is to buy an after market wiring harness from a company like painless wiring. It will come with all the correct connectors already on it.

What would cause the battery light in the dash to flash when accellerating ? 1997 GMC Sierra 5.7 , 4x4 , SLT

check belts for proper tension, take alternator to local (auto zone,O'reillys advanced auto) have it checked, also check wire and cable connections. my bet is the alternator! or belt slippage

My signal lights didn't work on a 1988 gmc c6000 so I installed two lights to switch on off manually because there is no flasher unit or placed to plug one in. is there a way to make the lights I installed...

Sure, just place the flasher ,wire it in a series type of circuit.
place it in the hot or battery side wire,to the lights, but between the battery and the manual switch. If you place it between the bulbs they will flash alternately ,but not as bright.
