Either your battery itself is to blame, or you have something that's drawing power even when the car is not running. You can disconnect the battery overnight, then reconnect it in the morning to see which problem you have (i.e., if the car starts, your problem is a power draw; if not, it's the battery). Your best bet though it to have an auto shop test the battery for you.

Audi a3 04 had been draining battary over a day or two and then when driveing cut out on me lights still on the car will not start cranks fine.has had new in tank fuel pump and battary

You have a Parasitic battery draw, hook up a meter and watch it as you remove fuses, when that draw goes away you have found the system of the car that is the problem. Most times it is a light left on like a vanity mirror light or trunk light, center console as well and glove box lights.

Where is the thermostat on a 1995 1.8 liter toyota carroolla

The thermostat is located in the housing that the lower radiator hose goes on to, if you follow the lower hose from the radiator to the engine , remove the hose from engine by removing the clamp and sliding hose off. You will need a container to catch the coolant that will run out when the hose is removed, to do this a little neater, locate the drian valve on the bottom of the radiator and just turn to loosen valve and drain coolant there first, make sure to remove the rad cap to drian cooling system better. also keep container under the hose you remove to catch the small amount of coolant that will flow out and once the thermostat is removed coolant will run out from engine. with the hose off you will see 2nuts to move and then housing comes off and theres the thermostat. Hope this is helpful.

Flat batary

Do you drive it everyday? Does it have any extra stuff on it like alarm system, anti-theft device? Get one of those floaty ball things that check the specific gravity of your battery acid. One dead cell is a dead battery. They will tell you a lot. And just because a battery is new doesn't mean it is good. I have seen a lot of good batteries dead! Also, check the water in the battery. also, check the alternator, it can't be charging. The light on? Something is killing your battery. If it isn't being drained, it isn't being charged up either. The clock can kill a battery in a few days. Check this stuff out. Hope it helps.

Two weeks ago, when I went to Acura deller for oil change, they sugested me change the battery, since I never got a problem for start, so i did not change the battary. But next day I can not start my car,...

First make sure the terminal and posts are clean and greased.

Then make sure the alternator belt is tight.

The type of battery makes no difference as long as it fits.

What matters is whether or not the alternator is putting out 13.5 volts or higher, in order to keep the battery at 12.5 volts. Put a voltmeter on the battery and rev the engine.

Vw corrado 16v, 1993, battary goes totally flat while parked for two days, with new battary only starts sometimes and still going flat.

something is draining the battery while the engine is off. best thing you can do is look inside the car from standing outside (do not open the car door, this will turn on the dome lights, you want it dark inside) and see if you can see any lights on, look around the visors, glove box, console. sometime the visor light will stay on and because the visor is always up you'll never see it during the day. have someone get into the trunk and close it to see if the light goes off. (you realy need to trust this person)
crawl under the engine and look up to see if the engine light on the hood stays on.
best to do all this at night or inside a garage that is dark.
If this done't work a professional techincian will need to perform a parasitic test on the electrical system to look for a drain.

I have a 2001 2.8 v6 galaxy that will drian the battery flat in a couple of days, any help on this would be helpfull.

lets say you have had the battery tested and it's ok?
(as bad batteries do hold charge but only for a short time)

the fluid inside the battery is at the correct level?

when u start the car you should be able to disconnect a battery lead and the car should keep running, (alternator test)

if everything checks out so far?... use an amp meter across the fuse terminals to see what is drawing excessive power.

Its a process of elimination. always start at the simplest part and work through.

Battary light would not go off

Have the battery and the alternator tested under a heavy electrical load. Some of the cheap battery testers will not indicate a bad or weak cell. Also your alternator may not put out enough amperage to keep up with the electrical demands placed upon it. A good battery tester is a carbon pyle tester. Good luck.
