Question about 2005 Dodge Magnum

Replaced the plugs and the car has not had a fuel filter since i got it and the plugs were stock so the fuel filter probly would be too how do i find the fuel filter and is it hard to change out

Make sure it has a fuel filter first, many chryslers are doin away with them. seriously call the parts store. let me know what they say if it has one i can find it for u.

Dont go back to that mechanic ever. Chec under hood for any loose wires,bolts or hoses. Probly somethin simple from carelessness. Find a nice shop at surecritic.com

hold on with replacin parts-----did u do a scan--------also the rail cud be pluged or you probly need a pressure chec on fuel line

Ok my 1990 gmc i got the pipes and plugs replaced and it was kinda pausing up so i replaced the fuel filter now its still doing it but not as bad but there is no power now what should i do


probly hav a weak fuel pump or pump regulator-in engine area--did u change plug wires and distributer cap-they go bad but dont show it--throttlebody area may need cleanin--egr valve cud hav an issue--and the fuel injection--its 20 yr old

Will not start, has fuel, new plugs,battery,air filters,it just cranks over and has no spark.


how about some new plug wires-ther probly burnt chec the distributer/ignition module-same thing plugs last forever these days if this doesnt work then the mechanical timing is off

I would change the filter and replace it with a high performance one. You can google the make and model for an online manual.

it probly is ok to drive but you need a tune up air filter fuel filter oil change spark plugs and wires this will fix your problem and incress your fuel millage

It could be the ignition (spark plug) leads that connect to to the spark plugs, one could be shorting out or open circuit. Get them tested if possible, or just buy a new set, probly not too expensive. Could try swapping the leads with some known good ones (ie off another car that doesn't have the problem) before buying new ones, but if it's a '92 and never had them replaced it's probly good to do them anyway.
