DS window on 2011 Toyota Tacoma pickup is not working. Just replaced the 30a fuse & the window stated going down. Now the other windows work, however the drivers window will not go back up. 30

if there is noise coming from the driver side window is down why you pushing the control button for upwards means the window motor / regulator needs to be replaced. If there is nothing the main control switch for the windows may need to be replaced

The passenger side pwr window does not go up or down.sounds like motor is running. Just before it stopped, it went up when pwr button was pushed for it to go down. What might be the problem? I was told...

If you can hear the motor (regulator) running and the window is not moving up or down then it sounds like you need to replace the regulator, there is a plastic piece on the regulatore which holds the window on track, when this breaks the window will not stay in track thus not going up or down. Unfortunately you have to replace the entire regualtor for plastic piece, about $100 at Oreily's or Autozone. You have to remove the door panel, disconnect the power to regulator and retaining pins or screws, pull the regulator through the large hole in the door frame, replace with new regulator in reverse order. Careful, secure window with duct tape in the up position before removing the old regulator (manually push the window up with your hands first)

Let me know if this helps

325Ci Coupe Driver Window stuck in down position. There is a clicking noise when i attempt to roll up the window

E46's are known to have issues with their window regulators (motors), though if you're hearing a clicking noise I would think it's not the motor but perhaps the window itself off the track.

It may seem freaky, but it's quite easy to take off the panel at your window and investigate.

Here's a link to a DIY (Do it yourself) guide on how to open the panel. It's a guide to replace the regulator, but it also shows step-by-step how to take off the panel so you can look at the track.

This sounds like a window motor that has burnt out. When replacing the motor it's also a good idea to replace the window regulator also contained inside the door.

Hey when i push the power botton for the rear window it doesn't go down,I checked the power button, and its good ! Can i replace the power motor in the rear window, and where is it located,i would like to...

  1. Raise and support the rear door window glass to the full up position.
  2. Remove the interior door handle.
  3. Remove the rear door speaker.
  4. Remove the water shield.
  5. Disconnect the rear door window regulator motor electrical connector.
  6. Remove the rear door window regulator rivets.
  7. Remove the rear door window regulator by sliding the regulator arms off of the window glass track.
  8. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure, noting the following:
    • Cycle the door glass to make sure of engagement of the drive mechanism.
    • Remove the rear door window glass-to-regulator bolt or rivet.
    • Position the rear door window glass as necessary to access the rear door window glass-to-regulator rivet.
    • Secure the rear door window glass in the full UP position with tape.
    • Disconnect the window regulator motor electrical connector.
    • Remove the 2 window regulator nuts.
    • Remove the 3 window regulator motor bracket nuts.
    • Install the window regulator assembly. Tighten the 3 motor bracket nuts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
    • Install the 2 window regulator nuts. Tighten the nuts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
    • Connect the window regulator motor electrical connector.
    • Remove the tape securing the rear door window glass in the full UP position.
    • Position the rear door window glass as necessary to access the rear door window glass-to-regulator rivet. Tighten the bolt to 62 inch lbs. (7 Nm), or install a new rivet.
    • Install the window regulator motor
    • Remove the window regulator assembly.

Window came off track nad wont roll up

you will have to remove the door panel and try to lift the window back up, have a look while holding the window up and see if the bolt/rivet holding the window onto the motor has just come loose or broke. Its quite possible its still bolted up to the assembly but the regulator has broken resulting in the window motor not being able to raise/lower window.
The regulators breaking are a common problem they have plastic usually that wears after so long.
