Check if you have signal from ignition switch to starter , also what was the reason to replace battery? , you may lost your immobilizer sincro , I've seen that happened. If that's the case - probably dealer only or advenced auto shop.
hi genuine parts will cost allot of money, possibly about 250 to 300 uk pounds or 500 to 600 US dollars, then there is the 2 to 3 hours repair charge, wich cost about 85 uk pounds per hour and 180 US dollars per hour, although you can get cheaper parts which are not so reliable but then there are lots of places that charge allot less for the work, best advice is to shop arround tll you get a good price for both....hope that sorta helps you
The thermostat is inside a black plastic housing, It is inside the housing assembly where both radiator hoses meet up by the engine. You can't replace just the thermostat, the whole housing has to be replaced,
