I drove my 2000 vw beetle to school and back home today and everything was fine. then i parked it and went into my house for a couple hours then went back in my car to go to my next class. i put the key in and it wouldnt start and the check engine light came on. my dad tried jumping it, putting more gas in it, and starting it over and over and it just kept making the sound like it was going to start but just never did. what could be wrong?
