Question about 1992 Honda Accord
On 99% of cars, you
need 1) to lift the vehicle to working height. Never work under a vehicle
on a makeshift lift, such as a standard car jack. 2) You need to
unsolder the old unit and solder back the new one. 3) You will be
working with a hot torch, and sparks near the gas tank.
I recommend that you leave this unpleasant work to professionals.

Heat the area by the muffler with a torch. Try not to heat the tail pipes themselves. Then take a pair of channel locks and wiggle them out.
