Hi!!
You may need to adjust the shifter linkage in relation with the neutral safety switch, if the switch is not aligned in the Park position, it won't send the signal to the starter solenoid to engage.
The adjusting is made at the Neutral Safety Switch - shifter linkage connector on top of the right side of the transmission.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

Why won't my 2010 Ford Econoline start despite all lights/radio etc come on?

It takes a lot more power to start a motor than it does to run the accessories.. First thing to check is for loose or corroded battery cables.. next check the output on the alternator to see if it is charging the battery.

My 2001 Pathfinder intermittently won't crank (turn key, radio and AC come on but no engine crank). If I push/pull gear shift, it starts - is there a sensor to make sure its in Park to start that may

Many cars do have a switch on the gear shift to ensure it will not start if not in park, turn on the reverse lights when in reverse, turn on the camera when in reverse, park lights, etc. Here is an article that mentions it a little bit, http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/transmission-drivetrain/154-0805-1987-2001-jeep-cherokee-neutral-safety-switch/.

Wont shift gears.

Look under the dash at the switch by your brake pedal. This switch must work for the gearshift to come out of Park. It is also the reason your brake lights do not work.

There is an electric lockout on the gearshift and the power comes from the brake light switch. This is how the van knows you have your foot on the brake.
The switch may be broke or simply loose and not making contact.

Do you know what a wiring diagram is and how to use it to pin point places in a electrical circuit to do testing ? How to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Those system may have something in common , a ground ! Here is a web site for free wiring diagrams .
http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on transmiission /transaxle , then under subsystem click on shift interlock . Click the search button . Then click the blue link ! The shift interlock system is a safety system that won't allow the gear selector to be moved from park unless the driver is pushing on the brake pedal !

Engine motor mounts / electrical harness

Yes if the mount is not on the correct way it will cause problems like that and even kill the motor while driving down the road. When the van was made thay put one of the main wiring harness's under the motor mount that bolts to the block. When its comes loose or off it starts shorting out your motor. You will ether need to replace the bracket or bolts or both. Bolt size is a M10 1.5 its a 17mm head. Or they might be loose. Mount is located in the front of the van inbetween the motor and transmission. Hopes this helps

Lights dim and radio and A/C turn off together for about 5 second

Your issues has more than one cause. The shifting into 2nd and 1st are separate to the radio & A/C. The blinker circuit is ALSO separate to the radio and A/C. The electrical system needs to be diagnosed, starting with the battery & charging system... Then look for any bad gound circuits/cables... starting with the battery, then chassis, then any individual power components (TCM, A/C, Lights, blinkers, A/C blower motor & controls, etc.)
