Im not a 100% on this but if you got a crank sensor on there i would check that ...if its bad it will put no spark to the car

Testimonial: "thanks a lot...I did not know it had a crank sensor..you are great."

you were 100% correct on your diagnosis of my car not having spark. It was the crankshaft positioning sensor. I would have spent a lot of wasted time and money locating my problem. I changed out the sensor and the 940 runs great. thanks, thanks thanks....

I suggest that you look for secondary voltage leaks from the ignition system. Moisture causes dirt to become a pathway for this spark voltage. Look inside all wire connections, for any corrosion. A scope can test this, but typically a home does not have a scope...

If all else is correct and the wiring to the sensor is correct and undamaged then the sensor has failed. It's not at all uncommon and is fairly cheap. I don't recall exactly where the sensor is located, but it's screwed into the engine block and has a single wire coming from it.

I am getting no spark to my coil 93' 940 turbo.

In or around the distributor. Looks like a small black box with a rectangle plug, or a black and silver box with three oval plugs, depending on which type of distributor you have. You will need to know if it's a Bosch or Regina dist. when you go to purchase the replacement part. Your parts store may also be able to test it for you once you get it out.

Behind the engine on top of the tranny bell housing is the crank angle sensor.  Try wiggiling the harness.

Have you checked compression on non firing cylinders? Likely has blown head gasket between these two cylinders if located side by side.
