I,am leaking diesel in a ford f250 7.3 litre diesel turbo powerstroke. It is coming up toward the passenger side of oil pan. It is a consistent leak that seems to getting worse. Also there is a power decrease could this be because of this and where is the leak coming from?

Howdy,

Most likely your issue is going to be the O-rings in the fuel/water separator drain valve located under the "powerstroke" cover on top of the engine. Look for a yellow handle on the pass. side on the back side of the fuel bowl. Open it and close it a couple of times, it may stop leaking, it may not. You can get the entire drain valve replaced for a chunk of change, or if it you're able you can just replace the o-rings themselves for just a few $. Your ford dealer should have both the valve and the o-rings.

Sounds like a fuel line. trace the fuel line from under the truck on the driversside should go up the back of the motor. the fuel line is probably spraying over to the passenger side of the motor. yes this could cause a power loss.

Oil leak passenger side 300 turbo sedan, some on front passenger side wheel. Never lost oil pressure, but dipstick showed very little oil in crankcase on immediate after-run check. Have not started...

Add about 2.5-quarts of new engine oil to the engine.
Remove the passenger-side wheel, and support the car on jack-stands.
Start the engine and look for oil leak.
Chances are leaks are coming from failed oil-pan gasket or the drain-plug.
The head-cover gasket could be failing as well..

well the question is where did the coolant go. if it didnt leak out it must have went out the pipe. As you stated, white smoke, white smoke is coolant. You definately need to get this to the shop. You cannot drive it this way or further damage will occur.

A little bit of oil is normal, but if oil is dripping all the time, the turbo needs to be repaired.

Oil leak on top front of 2002 f350 super duty diesel engine

if it's a diesiel the it's coming from your oil line to your turbo. if it is gas then it could be a leak coming from a leaking valve cover gasket.

1996 turbo deisel fuel and oil leak.

The fuel pump is located under the turbo on that truck. It is most likley washing sediment/old fluids out of the vally of toyr engine. It is also driven by a push rod that ths cam drives, so the lower pump o-ring may be leaking too. You can change the fuel pump without pulling the turbo. Good Luck

Oil Leak under the turbo on top of the valley baffle

ok ive experienced this same problem, my dad has the same year truck as u.first year powerstroke, you have to remove the turbo, there will be one bolt in the turbo stand, u will need a 10mm universal joint for a 1/4 inch drive ratchet, to remove it, but under the turbo stang there will be 2 O rings, replace those and u will be set to go.
