Ok to do this you have to go form underneath you don't need to remove the bumper. Turn your wheel all the way to the left, there are 6 clips that hold the whole housing in place, as the fog lamps are also located in the housing, then be careful not to break the clips, they are clearly visible. Once you remove them all it will just fall down. Removing the tire makes it even easier. If you need more guidance let me kknow.
Thank you and good luck,

How to Replace Headlight Bulb on 2005 Prius?

Remove fender well trim ( a few screws)
Remove front bumper COVER (not the bumper- the plastic cover)
About 14 screws. Mostly on the underside, get a creeper, and a few
on the top.

Remove the (left or right side) Headlight assembly ( a couple more screws).
One assembly contains the headlight, turn signal and running light. Unplug
the electrical connector from the assembly. All bulbs remove from the back
of the headlight assembly. Headlight is held in place by bail wire, smaller
bulbs are 1/4 turn.

How do you access the FRONT park/turn signal light, in the bumper below the headlight, to replace burned out bulbs?

It all depends on the vehicle. Many newer cars you have to remove the front bumper cover to get to the lights.

I need to replace the front turn signal

does the back blinker light bulb work? if it doesn't then it could be the flasher and not the bulb. If the back light goes on and blinks quickly, then you likely do have a burned out bulb. They are a real pain, I believe on your car, you have to get under the front bumper to remove it. twist and the socket will come out.

My low beam headlights and my driving lights do not work. My high beams and fog lights do work. How do I fix this.

Turn off engine and open the hood.
Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Whichever side, say we begin with the front left(drivers). If you dont wish to remove the front left tire, just turn the wheels far to the right to gain enough clearance. And you dont need to remove the whole liner and all the screws and retainers. . Just remove only those nearest the headlight and front bumper area in order to loosen the front half portion of the wheelhouse liner. Just enough for your arms to move freely inside.
At this point, try your hands to reach in for the rear of the headlamp low beam. Work your hands inside to remove ccw the lamp cap, and then on the low beam bulb. Note the position before turning it counterclockwise to remove.

Note: If you still need more clearance for better access, you can (1) remove the tire. or (2) remove the 3 screws that secure the bumper to the body, and then pull bumper outwards to loosen.Try to reach in again. If still not possible for you, proceed with the next step.

Remove the front sight shield. This is the plastic shield with seven pop up retainers. After removing the front sight shield, you will get a better view of the headlamp mounting bolts.
Remove the 4 bolts of the headlamp assembly. Two on top, and one on both sides. Then pull the headlamp forward enough and try to reach in your hand to remove the bulb cover and then remove the bulb from its socket and connector. turn ccw to remove. Note also the bulb position before you remove it from its socket.
Need more clearance? Remove the remaining retainers(6) thats supporting the front bumper fascia from the top. It will be better if you have an assistant who can stretch out gently the loosened bumper on that particular side, while you carefully maneuver the headlamp assembly removal inch by inch. If in case still unlucky, or you if found later that the bulb connector is melted or burned, proceed furthermore and remove the headlamp assembly all the way.
A burned connector needs to be replaced and a new bulb installed, even if you find the old bulb not busted.
With all the parts removed, you wiill have a better view of all other components within that area, the park and signal bulbs, the horn, the fog lamp, so that the next time you need to work on them you'll have a better gameplan. It's a matter of practice. I know its kinda tedious job for many Acadia owners. Just imagine removing so many screws for one simple bulb. But if you'll be patient enough, and get the hang of it, you will be saving labor costs.and enjoy loving your Acadia.

I hope you remember how and where components were removed, so you wont be lost in the reinstallation. Okay ? I hope wyet-helped. goodluck. : )

How to replace bulb in front bumper turn signal housing 1995 jag xj6

  • Identify the blown bulb. Note that if a headlight bulb has blown, the dip beam is on the outside and the high beam is on the inside. Turn off the ignition switch and light switches.

  • Open the hood and replace any blown headlight bulbs. Press the plastic spring clips and remove the bulb holder from the assembly. Pull the bulb out of the bulb holder and replace it with a new bulb. It only fits one way. Be sure not to touch the bulb's glass. Replace any parking lights at the same time, they are in the headlamp unit too.

  • Remove the front turn signal light unit in the bumper to change the turn signal bulb. Push gently on the inside edge and insert a blade between the bumper and the lens at the outside edge. Compress the spring and remove the lens. Fit a new lamp by inserting it into the plug. The side marker light is changed using a similar process.

  • Open the trunk to replace the rear fog light, stop light, tail light, reversing light and turn signal light. Remove the rear light cover and turn the bulb holder fastener 90 degrees counter clockwise. Remove the expired bulb, fit a new one and replace the parts, turning the bulb holder clockwise.

  • Thanks..

I have a 2002 x-type jaguar,i need to replace the front lights that are burn i need to take the hole front bumper off? how?

Inspect/Replace-I don't think that removing the bumper is necessary. There can be slight variations in procedure from one model to another when replacing headlights. For instance, on some models the turn signal light assembly must be removed before the headlight can be replaced. Overall, however, the procedure does not differ much from the following typical instructions.
Make sure the replacement bulb is the same type and part number as the one that is being replaced.
f19-22.jpg Comparing the old and ther replacement headlamps. To Replace:
    • Remove the headlight bezel retaining screws. Remove the bezel. If necessary, disconnect the turn signal lamp wires.
    • Remove the retaining ring screws from one or both lights.
    • Remove the retaining rings.
    • Remove the light from the housing. Disconnect the wiring connector from the back of the light.
    • Push the wiring connector onto the prongs at the rear of the new light.
    • Place the new light in the headlight housing. Position it so the embossed number in the light lens is on the top.
    • Place the retaining ring over the light and install the retaining ring screws. Tighten them slightly.
    • Check the aim of the headlight and adjust it, if necessary.
    • Install the headlight bezel. Secure it with the retaining screws.
    • Connect the turn signal lamp wiring (if it was disconnected).

How do I change my front turn signal? I can access the lower signal from under the bumper, I can't access the signal that is next to the headlight. There are no screws in front to take the plate off,...

The signal light on the grill next to the head light can be accessed by removing the the front grill. Your going to need a torque screw driver to remove the grill to get to the light bulb. The signal from under the bumper can be accessed from behind the bumper and you need not to take the turn light assemble off from the bumper. There are LED light bulbs available now and last much longer then the conventional bulbs and cost not that much more. Auto Zone carries these replacement LED bulbs and they can give you the step by step instruction to getting the job done if you need more illustration. Good luck and hope this helps and please rate, keep me posted. Be glad to help you get your lights replaced.
