Well, on a 1999 GM vehicle that has been on the road for an average number of miles per year, the tie rod ends and bearings are likely to go bad over time and with normal wear and tear, especially if normal maintenance hasn't been performed like greasing the tie rod end for instance.

Also, the window motor is probably bad, if with a test light the motor is getting current after removing the door panel.

A bent tie rod? yes a wreck. not bent? wear and tear on it, they do go bad. if you ahve a bad wheel bearing, that will make the tie rod go bad. need to replace that tie rod, it's a wreck waiting to happen, i've seen cars roll over because of that. and the window problem, if you have to help that window manually go up and down, more likely a bad window motor. i hope this helps!!

1999 Buick regal. Thumping noise on sharp right turns. Had ball joints and tie rods replaced. Now what?

Check your cv shaft for play or broke cv boot. It could be the grease is gone and the joint is making noise or the wheel bearing hub could also be bad.

Replacing outter tie rods 2005 grand dodge caravan

Replacing steering components is not that easy, and you have to take it somewhere for an alignment afterwards anyway, and if the shop did not do the work they are going to charge you a lot for the alignment. I'd take it somewhere and let them fix it for you.

I wouldn't take a long trip with bad steering components. If something broke, the best outcome is you'd be stranded, but the worst could be you lose control and crash. Paying somebody to fix it would seem really cheap compared to that!

When car is running, light noise in motor. sounds like a rod bearing. What kind of mechanics do I need to do to it?

You need highly skilled and experienced technicians to both identify and repair this problem. (but only ones with yellow hats...only kidding!) You can differentiate between a rod bearing and a lifter problem by increasing rpm's from idle. Generally a lifter noise will go away, a rod noise will get louder. Rod or main bearings also lower oil pressure when they wear. It takes lots of experience to tell the difference between a rod or main noise but generally with today's crankshaft construction, neither are repairable using anything but a new crank, unless wear is extremely slight.A rod bearing can be replaced in-car. A main cannot.
Both jobs are expensive.
