Do repair that lite wants you to do, then use a scanner to turn off lite.

It's not a repair light, it is more like a taddle light telling the ecm that the air bag system has been tampered with... I just unplugged the passenger air bag light from the dash when replacing the factory radio... I am a professional stereo installer and it had to be unplugged to remove the dash bezel to access the radio. So now I have this 'Taddle' light that flashes constantly.

USE A SCANNER TO READ CODES AND TURN OFF THE LITE.
If that doesn't work then dicon battery for one minute.

If none of my recommendations have worked for you. then get the service manual for the vehicle there you should find the answer. Unless there was damage to the subject item.

2008 ford f-350 passenger air bag flashes 1-7 code than stays on when truck is started. What does the code mean and can the code be reset without tearing air bag out of truck?

If a SRS fault exists, the RCM sends a message to instrument cluster module to flash a coded sequence which is called a lamp flash code (LFC) on the air bag warning indicator. Each LFC is flashed 3 times after which the air bag indictor will remain lit for the remainder of the key-on cycle. In addition to the self-test at start up, the RCM continuously monitors all of its external and internal circuitry for faults.
While the LFCs are an indication of a general concern in the supplemental restraint system (SRS), the DTCs are more specific. The DTCs can be retrieved from the RCM with a scan tool via the DLC.

Turn off airbag light

Air bag lights self reset you still have a existing problem during the self test it has detected a open/shorted circuit disabling the system. watch your air bag light then turn key on do not start engine lamp comes on then goes out and then comes back on again. this is the start up initialization of the system and sensor or wiring does not pass the system goes fail safe. with a scanner the air bag code can be read thru the OBDii connector if having hyundai body control software.

Air bag lamp works

The air bag warning lamp should work, so that isn't a fault in itself.I'm therefore assuming that the warning indicator lamp is staying on after startup, which would require that you plug in a diagnostic computer and read any fault codes.

Flashing airbag light 4 blinks 6 blinks

This is a code 46 LH Crash Sensor - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly. Often there is a poor contact on one of the wiring connectors. Some of the problems can happen from a poor connection where everything connects under the drivers side seat.
Here is a list of codes for the airbag light issues.

Air Bag Fault Code Table

AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC MONITOR FAULT CODE PRIORITY TABLE

Priority Code Component/Fault Description

Highest -- No Air Bag Lamp - Inoperative Lamp Circuit or No Ignition Voltage to Diagnostic Monitor

' -- Continuous Air Bag Lamp - Diagnostic Monitor Disconnected or Inoperative

' 12 Low Battery Voltage

' 13 Air Bag Circuit or Crash Sensor Circuit - Shorted to Ground

' 21 Safing Sensor - Not Mounted on Vehicle Properly

' 22 Safing Sensor Output Circuit - Shorted to Battery Voltage

' 23 Safing Sensor Input Feed/Return Circuit Open

' 24 Open in Circuit 944B or Low Resistance in Crash Sensor(s)

' 32 Driver Side Air Bag/Safing Sensor Circuit - High Resistance or Open

' 33 Pin 7 Not Grounded at Diagnostic Monitor

' 34 Driver Side Air Bag/Safing Sensor Circuit - Low Resistance or Shorted

' 35 Low Resistance Across Pins 8 and 9 at Diagnostic Monitor

' 41 Crash Sensor Circuit - High Resistance or Open

' 44 RH Crash Sensor - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly

' 45 Center Radiator Crash Sensor - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly

' 46 LH Crash Sensor - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly

' 51 Diagnostic Monitor Internal Thermal Fuse - Blown and Short to Ground No Longer Exists

' 52 Backup Power Supply - Voltage Boost Fault

' 53 Internal Diagnostic Monitor Fault

Lowest -- Rapid Continuous Flashing of Air Bag Lamp - All Crash Sensors Disconnected

Hope this helps...

The only way to reset the SRS lamp is via Testbook or similar. Make sure the SRS bulbs are good and firmly inserted before you have a reset or it may not work. SRS systems are VERY tickly and more than willing to log faults.

Also, keep in mind this recomendatios for other brand's vehicles (just as reference): On certain vehicles (Truck, Van and Minivan), the driver's air bag may become disabled due to a failure of the clockspring, which is located in the hub of the steering wheel.

CONSEQUENCE:
This condition will manifest itself through illumination of the air bag warning lamp, and could eventually result in a driver's air bag open circuit, if the part is not replaced in a reasonable amount of time.

REMEDY:
Dealers will replace the clockspring assembly on all covered vehicles with 70,000 miles or less. FOR THOSE VEHICLES WITH MORE THAN 70,000 MILES, DaimlerChrysler will offer an extended lifetime warranty under which it will replace the clockspring at no charge if it fails. DaimlerChrysler will also reimburse owners who have paid to have the clockspring replaced on their vehicles.

Keep us updated.

2002 lincoln continental anti-theft/security lamp - sometimes at start up the lamp will flash once and then 6 times. This will continue for several minutes, even while driving the vehicle.

Pinpoint Test G: LFC 16/DTC B1925 - Passenger Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Battery or Ignition
Normal Operation
The restraints control module (RCM) checks for passenger air bag module circuit shorts to battery or ignition by monitoring the voltage of circuits 607 (LB/OG) and 616 (PK/BK) at C310b, pins 6 and 7. If the RCM detects a short to battery or ignition on either of these pins, it will store a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1925 in memory and flash a lamp fault code (LFC) 16 (or higher priority code if one exists) on the air bag indicator.
Possible Causes
A passenger air bag circuit short to battery or ignition can be caused by:
  • a short to battery or ignition on circuit 607 (LB/OG).
  • a short to battery or ignition on circuit 616 (PK/BK).
  • a short to battery or ignition on the passenger air bag module.
  • an RCM internal concern.

2001 suburban air bag light flashes 7 times and stays on we had the abs computer changed a week ago.any thoughts thanks

Was the ABS module changed at a GM dealer?
The SIR module (air bag) does no recognize the new ABS module, that is what is causing the flashing lamp.
The dealer will be able to reset the SIR module.
Let me know.
