You will have to remove the plastic shroud below the radiator. Should be 4 bolts and 2 plastic retainers holding it in place. Once you remove this, it is on the bottom on the passenger side.

I need to drain the radiator to flush it and the heater core and i cant find a drain plug in my 1998 ford taurus where do i find this drain plug to drain it

There is a drain on the bottom of the radiator that has "ears" on it. It should be on the extreme lower left or right. Use pliers to open it up.

Looking for coolant sensor ?

open the hood and look down. follow the upper radiator hose to the engine block. that is the thermostat housing cap. the unit with the wires in it, at the cap, is the sensor. you can get them at the auto parts store. just need a wrench to replace it. hope this helps

Can't find drain plug (petcock) on radiator. Ford taurus 1998. Does it have one?

It does not have one, the best way to drain the system is to remove the lower radiator hose.

Ord galaxy 1998 tdi 110 radiator over heating but

you need to flush the radiator out.
With the engine cold, remove coolant bottle cap to release pressure.
Drain engine coolant from drain plug on radiator.
With the drain plug removed disconnect the highest hose connected to a radiator.
use an hosepipe and put it in place of the disconnected radiator pipe.
turn on the water to the hose pipe and let it flush out any sludge accumulated in the radiator. after a few minutes turn off water supply, reconnect radiator hose and drain plug and refil using recommended coolant mix for your galaxy (purchased at most autofactors and garages).
Also check your thermostat as if this is faulty it would stop the flow of coolant running around your engine.

hope this helps

Where is the coolant block drain plug located on

None on the block, other than freeze plugs...
The only drain is on the bottom of the radiator (you knew that)...

I installed a Prestone motor flush kit and it flushes just fine, but does not "empty" the engine cavities. This is better, anyway.

You have to splice a "Tee" fitting into a convenient heater hose (highest one).

Hope this helps..

Locate engine block antifreeze drain plug

well you dont actully have to drain the the block its self. There should be a drain on the radiator on either the right or left bottom side of the radiator.
