You'll need to flip the wiper arm back towards you until it locks in the upward position. look for a small shiny pull tab at base of the arm. pull that tab outwards while prying up on wiper arm. it should come off with light pressure. this pulls the whole wiper arm off. hope this helps you!!

2000 Buick Century, Spavinaw, OK, December 26, 2009, 13:21 driving home in snow storm and passenger side quit working , the drivers side works - cleared out all the snow and ice and still does not work...

Remove the wiper arm and check the serrated hub to see if it sheared a pin holding it to the shaft. If it is ok, then you may have a broken/loose part in the linkage. Good luck!

Windshield Wiper Issues

Sounds like the relay (should be found with the fuses) for the wiper system is at fault. Either that or the wiring has shorted somewhere. Most likely a new relay is required.

Water leaking onto drivers side floor board.(not radiator fluid, not leaking at any door seal).

It could be the base of the windshield, or any holes in the firewall in the area just below the windshield (i.e., where the wiper arms are).
