You will have to take the valve cover off the van and do what you have to, to get it out.

Actually, with a bit of patience a screwdriver handle, and a pair of pliers, I was able to remove and replace fill cap. New cap cost $7.99. How much would it have cost to remove the valve cover, I wonder?

My 1994 ford aerostar makes 3 distinctive buzzes

There is a central control module on the fuse panel that has a speaker in it. Looks like an oversized relay. It's use is for when you leave the keys in the ignition, left the lights on, or the door isn't closed all the way. It will still run without it.

There are two bolts. As the bolts are remove it should come out.Pull the old thermostat (with gasket attached) out of the round, shallow depression in the engine which is just big enough to hold the thermostat.----------

HELP! Gear Oil Leak

Both the front seal and the rear gasket are fairly easy fix, But don't let anybody over torque the seal, You can add more oil, and let it sling all over the place, your car will never rust, the filler plug looks like a bolt with a square hole in it, the end of ratchet or breaker bar will fit it, 1/2 inch, you can fill it up there. Hope this helps.

Changing oil pan gasket on 1989 Ford Aerostar

drain the oil from the pan and remove the filter.
Lift the car up and secure it . So it will not roll or fall. Remove the bolts from the pan using a 10 mm or so and a rachet and small extension. There are several bolts all around the pan. Remove the pan and remove the gasket. Clean up the pan and remove all gasket material from the pan. Install the new gasket around the pan and replace back.

Car over heats

ok lets try to figure it out. FIRST OFF. SATURNS ARE NOTORIOUS FOR BLOWN HEAD GASKETS. REMOVE THE THERMOSTAT AND REPLACE THE HOUSING WITHOUT A NEW ONE. START THE CAR AND DRIVE TO SEE IF TEMP. IS NORMAL NOW. IF NOT AND STILL OVERHEATS CHECK FOR BLOWN HEAD GASKET. REMOVE OIL CAP AND LOOK UNDER THE CAP FOR MILKY RESIDUE, IF SO ENGINE WORK IS NEEDED.
