How yo unhung the security systen - 1994 Nissan Maxima

security ignition lock out, anti theft. Sounds like yo have to have your security reprogrammed. Normally a dealler fix.

Check the fuller nosily they sometimes rot and get little pin holes or the vapor line is rusty, this will cause them to leak vapor and trip your engine light giving you an emissions code, especially in the Dodge caravans VERY COMMON!

check for water ingress on the central locking unit

start with reprogramming the key ..what type of car , maybe i can get yo the steps in how to do it

make shure the battery is charged fully if the battery is going bad it can effect all kind of electrical part on your car.if their is a security systen you will need to disarm it after rehooking the battery

security light comes on if the chip in your key isn't reading.. Possible issue are the pickup in the key cylinder is getting old and weak. a resistor that matches the reading of your key can be added to the bottom of the steering column where the orange wiring goes into a two pin connector and it will allow yo o bypass the security so it will start

sounds like you need to bring the car into caddilac to have the passlock systen (security) reset, these cars can be very sensitive to battery loss

For any electrical type latch/control I suggest to shoot brake cleaner spray (protect the paint around working area with rag) and push button at repetition during it's still wet. It helps to clean internal contacts.

For any mecanical type latch/control I suggest penetrating oil such WD4. (also protect the paint around working area with rag) and operate mecanism at repetition during it's plenty of oil)

For both, repeat the procedure if not sucessful on first attempt.

I don't have in head the exact mecanism design for your vehicule. Sorry if I can't say more about.

The computer for the alarm is probably causing your problem. Scan the anti theft module to trouble shoot for the problem. You might have a door sensor that is shorted.
