Question about 2001 Nissan Sentra
It can be timing belt issue. The timing belt got misaligned or got over stretched or got loose. It must be jumping when gas pedal is depressed and letting the car to bog down.
But also other possibilities for this problem are.Faulty spark plugs and its wires. Also the faulty O2 sensors can cause this problem.
If this both checked out ok then the other possibility can be Faulty TPS sensor.
Incorrect sensor reading sends an improper signal to the ECM and not enough or too much gas gets dumped into the engine.
If in case you are getting check engine light. Then get the car scanned to get the error codes. At diagnosis center you will receive the error
code.As per the error code it will detect the exact faulty part in the car due
to which the problem is occurring. For more help :--- at www.autozone.com its
absolutely free to get car scanned.
