Hi this is normally done by using the tyre iron the thing that you use to undo the wheel nuts, as i do not know what model you have as you didn't say, i will tell you have to do it on a normal 4x4 open the trunk/boot, under a flap in the carpet at the rear end ( if pick up you will see it anyway no need to pick up carpet tap) there is a bolt head in the floor, use the tyre iron to undo this , as you undo it, the cage that holds the tyre under the vehicle drops down slowly till you get to a point that you can take the tyre out of the cage...hope that helps please rate and vote thanks

How do I lower the spair tire on 1999 mercedes ml 320

Hi, In the back under the car is the spare. You will need to jack up the car and insert a long rod with a hook like end. That you will find with your jack and tire wrench. On the back you will also see an opening (near license plate). Insert the rod and crank down the spare. Good luck.

How to access Spair tire on a 1997 Z3.

There is a left-hand and right-hand locking mechanism.
One is in tool tray (left), and other (right) is hidden under the plastic tray far right side. Remove the wing nut that holds try in place and then nut that holds up spare tire carrier is under there.

How do you pull out the fuel pump out of my tank??????

Most of the time if you look in the trunk uder the spaire tire there is a plug or a knock out to get to the pump. If your model isnt so equiped lift the car up climb under and pull the tank down pump will be with the sending unit. Its going to be held in by a ring take a brass punch and tap the ring counter clockwise

What prevents the spare tire from reporting pressure on a 2005 Pathfinder.

good question, don't think i have ever been asked this one.the tire pressure is monitored not by a pressure sensor inside the tire on a pathfinder but by the wheel speed, each wheel hub ( the thing the wheel bolts to ) has a speed sensor and the on-board computer is allwise monitoring the wheel speed, if one tire gets low on air it will be slightly smaller in diameter, so this will cause that one hub sensor to allwise read a slightly higher speed than all the other sensors so if the computer keeps seeing one wheel reading a little faster then all the other wheel sensors wile the car is going strate down the road it will them assume that that tire is low on air and turn on the low tire light. now some of your high doller cars do have sensors inside the tires but those cars do not have spair tires ( have you ever seen a spair on a corvett?) and those setups have specal made tires and wheels for this system.....so as you can see the spair is not bolted to a hub so the car doset care if its flat or not, but you will if you ever need it, so ckeck the air in the spair.
