First check the air filter to make sure you didn't suck water into the filter.

Could be moisture in the distributor cap.

When is raining and i drive it on to the water it stops and dont start. even if starts it the engine doesnt run properly..the next day ..no rain ..the engine work perfectly..

Change your distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires. This should be enough to prevent stalling in the rain.

When these components wear out, the problem is first noted when driving in the rain. If they are not changed, eventually the car will not start, even in good weather.

2000 windstar hard to start and stalls if it rains and for days after rain stops. Then it will start and run fine until the next rain.

I would start with a complete tune up. Ignition wires get hard and crack allowing moisture to get into the wire shorting it out. You also may have a cracked distributor cap that is collecting condensation. A tune up will probably take care of the problem. If you have not had one in a while that is the best place to start.

does your model of vehicle have a distributor? if so, there is likely moisture getting inside. Replace the cap and check to make sure the seal isnt broken.

1994 suburban gmc - no start in heavy rain or high humidity

When was the last time the truck was tuned up? sounds like there is a hair line crack in the distributor cap witch in turn lets moisture get in there and it won't start until it dries back out, the heat from the hair dryer is most likely drying out the moisture in the cap seeing its so close to the throtel body. Do a tune up.

Jetta GLX 1998 (old body), when it rains heavy, car run rough

Sounds like you need new wires and or cap and rotor, had the same problem on my jetta 1.8L when I would drive it in heavy rain it would bog down and misfire. The water blows threw the rad right onto your distributor and wires causing the short (old and cracked or just defective). Try it out I'm sure that will fix it.

Won't start under moist conditions

Distributor cap is cracked or the gasket between distributor and cap is bad.
