Engines are not specific to car models. The following site explains how to find the engine info: http://www.chevy-camaro.com/chevy-camaro-engine-codes.asp

1969 Camaro Small Block fuel pump. What is the pressure for a stock fuel pump?

most mechanical pumps will run at 8 psi. Pressure is dependant on volume flow so if the carby is starving for fuel , check for filter blockage ( also at needle and seat entrance), pump stroke ( thickness of blocks under mount on engine)

I have a 1969 z28 Camaro with a painless wiring

All wires are marked in small letters, so first make sure everything is hooked up right. Next check grounds and that correct bulbs are in taillamps. Dash lights could be bad light switch.

Just wondering What my engine is out of. i bought it as a 350 Chev but not sure exactly if its a 350 or not. engine number KO314CMJ casting number 3970010

Hey spoofy, that is a good block casting...Chevy used that from 1969-1979. The Vette, Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Monte Carlo and Trucks all had this engine. If it's a 4 bolt main, the chances it came out of a Vette are very good. The engine number you give does not cross reference.
I hope this helps.
