Only if you want the clock to be accurate! Some of the clocks just run slowly (or fast)- it is pretty much normal. The clocks in my Fords do the same thing- have to set them about every 1 - 2 weeks to keep them within 1 - 2 minutes of the correct time.

Clock slow in 2005 highlander

This can be very frustrating, I know. Problem is that the clocks in later model vehicles are electronic. A low battery is not likely your problem. These clocks will operate correctly as long as your electrical system has the output of a flashlight battery, or even less.

I recently had the same problem with my new Silverado truck. It would lose about 4 minutes a month and it aggravated my to death trying to change it all the time. I replaced my radio with built-in clock and it works fine.

Not to say that you should go through such extreme measures, but it is sure nice to see the correct time.

My rexton 2005 sometimes won't start. but if u lock it up and go bk which could be between 10 mins and 3 hrs.it starts up without a problem and it's random on it times. any idea please

Does it not turn over or it turns over but wont start?
If it will not turn over I would check the ignition switch for loose connection. If it turns over but wont start check the fuel pump relay.

05 grand Cherokee horn goes off by itself while driving

its broken, that assembly.
the FSM covers this 100%
1: PULL NEG BATTER LUG, and wait for 5minutes min. for caps to discharge in systems. especially the next.
2: DEFEAT AIR BAGS OR DIE.
3: and the steps stated. Body chapter, page 156./

gain acess to the combo switch, find the part that is loose
correct that, and find the short to the horn
try to do so and not damage the clock spring,
working this area of any car, FSM free, is asking for trouble.
danger
and very expensive broken parts by not following procedures to the letter.

You may have fluided the engine with gas.You have to let it run for a min. before you turn off the switch.Check your eletrical system.Such as spark plugs/wires. And coils you have four.

Some power but won't start without jumping

the battery is bad. the plates are warped or sulfated.
our shop see that all the time.just change the battery and make sure the terminals are clean and tight and the starter connection is good.

Periodically won't start. Starts up revs up then shuts itself down. If I just turn key it just cranks. If I pull key out and restart revs up and shuts itself down. I let set for a day and go out to start...

I had this same problem and couldn't figure it out, got fed up and replaced the fuel pump (turned out to be flex fuel) and it's been running fine ever since. This fuel pump is expensive.

it is in the tank it has to be jacked on level ground front and back try to get as much gas out of it as you can remove the negtive battery terminal remove gas cap wait 15 to 30 mins to make sure pressure is relieved you will need things to do this rez style 2 hydraulic 2 x 6 board some blocks rags safety glasses 3/8 drive socketput safty set metric / standard you never know these days put your safety glasses on now and remove filler neck hose from tank .locate strap that hold the tank up follow strap to where it bolt to the frame loosen all bolts 3/4 of the way down get 2x6 and jacks . one jack at front of tank other at the other end jack up all the way to top place board jacks use blocks to make up differe nce betwen board and tank now you need a gomer. gomer will hold the tank in place while you take the gas lines loose then the eletrical connection remove the bolts gomer at one end you at the other slowly let down at the same time tell jacks bottem out remove jack and boards and place tank on ground i beleve the filter is down there to it should be replaced as well to get to pump there is a big ring on the outside of pump that must turn counter clock wise there are ears on the ring use a piece of wood and big hammer to hit counter clock wise remove ring and pump put in ring back on make sure it is tight reverse order tank on board board on jacks connect eletric then hook up gas lines up to top with jacks gomer lifts one side you put blocks then to the other side for the same strapbolt it 1/2 way all the around should be home free from there bolt up to the topreplace gas cap reconnect batt and test good luck later
