Question about 1995 Ford Mustang

2 Answers

1995 Ford Mustang convertible, turn signals do not work, no turn signal light even appears on the instrument panel (often you will see the arrow solid, not blinking, no arrow period) other tail and brake lights work,... except for when I turn on the turn indicator, then the corresponding brake light goes out as well. We do not have an owners manual.

We tried that at the suggestion of the person at the auto parts store. The strange thing is that the turn arrow does not illuminate at all, not as a solid green arrow or blinking. We have not tried a fuse, we will try that tomorrow. Thanks

Where is flasher relay on 1995 Taurus?

An electronic combination turn signal and emergency warning flasher is attached to the lower left instrument panel reinforcement above the fuse panel.
The turn signal unit is located on the LH side of the instrument panel. The combination turn signal and hazard flasher can be removed by pressing the plastic retaining clip and pulling straight rearward. One phillips® head or regular screw has to be removed from the retaining bracket. It's square not round !

Brake lights turn signal and hazzards

Turn signals are on fuse number one and brake lights are on fuse number 9. Both are in the fuse box under the dash or on the side of the dash. Both are 15amp.

I assume the fuse has power if the hazards work.
The third brake light skips the turn signal switch, the regular brake light circuit goes thru the turn signal switch.
Do you have power going into the turn signal switch on the red lite green wire from the brake switch ?

1995 saab 900 convertible turn signals and brake lights not working

Check your fuses, even fuses not associated with lighting. If all ok it is probably the muti-funtion switch on the steering column, It is the switch that your turn signal lever connects to.

Turn signals wont work bulbs ok dont have a manual to the car dont know wich fuse goes to the turn signals

pickup a test light and check all the fuse if the fuses are good then you probably have a bad signal flasher.make sure you change the signal flasher and not the emergency flasher as they look the same.

I have the exact same problem. I replaced both underdash relays, checked all fuses and replaced the turn signal switch. Still no turn signals. Did you figure out what was wrong with yours?

Turn Signal Flasher location in 93 Mustang GT

The flasher is a small round plastic cylinder (unless replaced with a metal one) behind the left edge of the glove box that will look similar to the one in the fuse panel. The first step is to squeeze gently both sides of the open glove box and let it swing downward. It will be snapped into a metal horizontal brace just to the left of the glovebox opening by a small tab and have two wires attached. The number more than likely will be a #552 although I have seen a factory one with a Warner #224
