How do you change the dust covers on the rear brakes of a 1999 Silverado Z71?

You need to remove the axle shafts. Remove the differential cover, pinion shaft and c-locks. Then you can unbolt the backing plates and transfer the park brakes.

How do i take the valve cover gasket off? 1997 chevy cavalier

just unbolt it and clean all of the old gasket off and put gasket sealant on the valve cover it self and put the gasket to it make sure it sticks to it good let it set to seal for a few and put it back on and torque it down to spec. or just try not to get it to loose or to where you crush the gasket ok and you prob. will be ok just remember gasket sealant is very sticky so yeah.

I am trying to recharge the AC in a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 and I cant find where to hook up my gauges to add freon. IT'S HOT IN TEXAS!!!!

it should be on the lines running from the compressor, they usually have a screw type cover that you take off to expose the fitting.
Do you know how to do it but?
