Fiero headlight motors are electric. sounds like the gear-train between the motor and the headlight assembly is damaged. You will need to replace the motors.

On my 84 I had many years ago, I had to remove the panel right behind (rear of )the shifter. If I remember the cigaette lighter was there as well.
How is the Fiero running?
I still wish I had mine, but kids got in the way, and the high price of replacement parts.

88 fiero starts on it own, but wont stay running.

the brain is not sending the proper fuel pressure codes to the fuel rail to evenly distribute the fuel to the intake and fuel rail.
perform a fuel pressure test check on it ok? also run a diagnostic scan on it and see what codes come out.
