Booster unit has failed or not getting vacuum from engine. Check vacuum line from intake to booster unit. If vacuum is good, diaphram may have failed inside the booster.

My break pedal goes all the way to the floor . I replaced brake rotors master cylinder, and Break booster. I had to bleed the brake and still pedal still goes to the floor

You still have air in the system.(not bled properly) If you let the Master cylinder drop down to nothing then you need to bench bleed that before bleeding the lines again.

Sound like you either have air in the system or a leak. Make sure all the connections are tight on the new calipers. clean off all the connections and blessed screws with brake cleaner. Then have your partner press on the brake pedal while you look for leaks. Reblead the entire system again starting at the right rear, than the left rear, than the right front, and finally the left front. Continue bleeding at each wheel until no air comes out. make sure you don,t let the master cylinder go dry. It will take several pedal pumps for the caliper pistons to take up the gap in between the pads and rotors. I assume you have a helper pushing on the brake pedal during the bedding process?

I had to unhook the brake line on the right front tire (1998 4runner)to remove the starter, wondering what I need to do to bleed the brakes now.

To bleed the brakes you need someone to pump the brakes and someone to watch the air valve on the back of the brakes until the air is out of the line. Once the air valve on the back of the brake line starts to flow brake fluid clearly then the air will be out. Recap the air valve and you should be ok.

How to bleed front brakes?

hello, your going to need a buddy in the truck pumping the brakes while you bleed them. With that first you need to verify that the master cylinder is full, if it is you can get started, there are two ways you can do this, the first is called a non-pressure bleed, this is when you break the bleeder loose and have your assistant push down on the brake pedal and when it is all the way to the floor you tighten the bleeder up before they release the break pedal. The second method is the pressure bleed. this one is a little bit more messy, you will have your assistant pump the brake pedal several times and hold firmly while you break the bleeder loose, the pressure will force the fluid and air out quickly. you will have to bleed both wheels untill there are no more bubbles in the fluid coming out. be sure to keep checking the master cylinder to verify that the brake fluid is full.

How do I bleed air from the brakes

Two persons are required: one to bleed and other to press brake pedal.
Remove wheel and hub of the side you want to bleed. You will find the bleed nut there. Open it a little until some oil flows out. Ask the other person to press brake pedal with steady pushing and withdrawing until he feels its tight while you slowly tighten the nut. Adjust tightness of pedal by trial. Don't forge to refill the brake fluid after bleeding all the brakes.

Do give my solution the highest rating if it solves your problem. Thank you for using fixya!
