When the passenger window is going up it hits a tight spot and sometimes stops and has to be pulled up. I have taken the panel off and cannot see anything out of whack can I remove the assembly and further inspect it.

Yes you can take it out but it's a hassel. Instaed go down to the parts store and get some silacone spray. with the window down spray the felt trcks the window moves up and down in reaql good as you do this run the window up and down, just till it sticks and then back down and then up again till it frees up. It's possible the the regulater is bent but that's hard to correct. With the door panel off. The window regulater is heald to the door withrivets, Some times theres one track thats bolted on and the rear window runner is bolted at the bottom. with the bolt out it may run alot smoother, see where it is heald to run the smoothest and redrill a hole for the bolt and bolt it down won't do this if the spary getts the job done just go on and do all the other doors too then rembar to do this once a year in the fall right before it gets cold. and it'll stay good. Never rest something on the open window it's not strong enough to hold something up ( our arm) rool the window all the way down instaed. If it won't rool up and down smoothly then a new regulater is the only good solution as trying to rebend it back is next to inpossible and even with alot of practice itmight not work in some angles of motion. If you do rebend it and it works good pat yourself on the back for a job wel done and then look at the price of the new one as the money that you did'nt pay. Inside of the door theirs lots of sharp parts so be careful.

Forget about takeing the panel off, think about this, this window is going up and down how many times it dosent bear thinking about.get a can of silocon spray they come with a little stray and spray the velvet type runners on each side of the window dont be afraid to really spray it and you will find the glass going up and down easy, then what i do is get some vaseline and with a cotton bud push it into the runners and you will have no more problems.please rate this answer thanks .adrian,,,,,,,

Looks like you are going to have to take the door apart for inspection. There is a good chance that the half moon jumped a couple of teeth and that the mechanicals between the electric motor and the scissor window raising mechanism is out of sequence. Once the door panel is taken apart, it is a rather simple task, to loosen the scissors, raising the window by hand, and re-tightening after you have shifted the whole assembly a couple of teeth. Remember not to place the window up to the exact top spot, but rather a little higher ( so that the window tries to keep going after it is fully up). This in order to insure a tight rain / road noise seal, the motor will recognize the extra load, and will stop working when the window glass is tight against the top frame.

Maybe your motor just need the connections taken off and sprayed down with wd/40 to help the connection. Is this happening on the driver side? if so try useing the passenger side button and see if it opperates same way, it;s a different window motor> good luck to you.

2001 Sierra. My driver side window stopped

The window motors are getting weak. If they are stuck down you can sometimes get them up by giving a firm hard hit on inside lower door panel while holding button up. This can get the windows up until you can get the window motor replaced. If you would like any further assistance feel free to ask, Thank you.

I can closed the back passenger window

IF you can, separate the rubber/felt window seals and see if you can see the top of the window glass. IF you can - use a pair of needle nose pliers and attempt to carefully pull up - making sure you do not crack (shatter) the glass. Once enough glass is exposed - use your fingers to pull-up. While you are pulling--up attempt to raise (up) the window with the window switch. There may be a dead spot on the motor, by pulling-up you advance the motor beyond the dead spot, and the motor MAY re-engage.
IF you can't get the glass up with needle nose pliers, try pushing down on the glass (being careful again) while engaging the window switch to raise (up). Again the idea is to get the motor from the dead spot.
Another way: While engaging the window switch to raise the window - bang (hard) on the door - in various spots to attempt to "vibrate" the motor to engage.
Last but not least: Remove the Inner Door Panel and raise the window by hand, again using the window switch to (maybe) assist you.
I have also (but painfully): separated the window seals and got a piece of duct tape down onto the glass, using a long screw driver to adhere enough of the tape to the glass enough to pull up on the glass. It worked but it needs careful hand control on your part. GO Duct Tape!

Passenger power window does not work 2002 Silverado HD Ext Cab

REMOVE THE DOOR PANEL TO GET TO THE WINDOW MOTOR. REMOVE THE CONNECTOR ON THE MOTOR. LOOP A TEST LIGHT FROM BOTH TERMINALS. WITH THE KEY ON AND BOTH SWITCHES IN PLACE, CHECK TO OPERATION OF THE SWITCHES. IF THE LIGHT COMES ON IN BOTH DIRECTION THE WINDOW MOTOR IS BAD.

THERE IS A CIRCUIT BREAKER BUILT INTO THE WINDOW MOTOR. SOMETIME HITTING THE MOTOR WITH MAKE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER RESET BUT THE MOTOR WONT LAST LONG DOING THAT.

ALSO TRY PULLING DOWN ON THE WINDOW WHILE TRYING THE SWITCHES. THE WINDOW COULD JUST BE STUCK. THIS HAPPENED TO ME.

Passenger side power window will not go up or down

Some times a power window on my 1995 Cadillac stops working. Almost everytime I have been able to get it working again by slaming the door or hitting the door panel close to the window motor. A couple of times I had to pull the panel back and tap on the motor to get it working again. Works for me and saves a lot of money. Good luck!!

Drivers side window wont close - completely open

If other windows work, it won't be the fuse. Probably switch on door, wiring at door hinge area, or motor. Did you try banging on the inside of the door panel about half way down while hitting the switch, or pulling up on window while someone pushes the switch? That's providing you can get a grip on the glass. Sometimes motor will hit a dead spot & sharp blow to panel, will get it moving again until better fix can be done.

Blower motor location for 2000 Caravan

The motor is located just under the glove box on the passenger side. I remove the glove box then the panel below the glove box. I also go ahead and pull back the carpet and the padding under the motor. It is held in place by 3-4 bolts that take a 7-8 millimeter socket. I use a swivel extension for the back bolts. The motor with the fan blade attached is a tight fit, just keep wiggling and pulling it should come out. Try to remove the old moter without cracking the fan blade, because sometimes the replacement motor doesn't come with a blade
