Flush all the fuel out, pull apart all the fuel system components and clean them, it is likely completely clogged with dried gas residue.

I have a 2007 BMW X3 and it has 51,000 miles on it and the change the brakes pad light came on. Do I need to change it at 51,000 miles?

Yes. The light is activated by a sensor within the pad to tell if failure is in range. Depending on your driving habits you may have a few hundred miles of pad left, if you do not change them soon other damage can occur to rotors or calipers.

This car has 51,000 miles. Engine reads 16v ztec. Stumbled on acceleration. Cleaned the throttle body and mass air flow. Took it for a run and it threw the first check engine light, Had auto zone pull the...

All I am getting from your discription, is that you
have a code & a misfire ,you have yet to diagnose.

Except for replacing the wires, that should last the life
of the car,your doing okey

You now are embarking on throwing parts at it,
not diagnosing.

I can't tell you how to continue,as I don't know
if have any test equip or skills required.

You may have a bad ignition module or other
issues

Again,test,don't install 1 part,unless something
tests bad.

What is the recommended maintenance for 50,000 miles on the Dodge Grand Caravan SXT?

according to the owners manual there is no 50,000 mile service, it is due at 51,000, the recommended service by Chrysler is as follows:
1.CHANGE OIL AND FILTER
2.ROTATE TIRES
3.INSPECT ENGINE AIR FILTER AND REPLACE AS NEEDED

Dealers have there own services that they recommend at mileage intervals that may vary from factory recommendations, beware of those large expensive packages they try to sell u.

I have a 2007 Nissan Maxima with 51,000 miles. I was told that my shift lock control had gone bad and needs to be replaced. How often does this happen with this type mileage?

Never have heard anything on this problem and have 3 friends with these cars with more mileage and they have not had this issue.
