Question about 2008 Chevrolet Impala

How do you get the battery out of a 2008 Impala to change it out. I can't figure out what has to be taken loose to get the battery out.

It should have brackets on either sides of the battery. You should check also in your repair manual if you have one. Hope this helps!!

2008 impala just changed the transmission and now it wont start with out a jump and then when cables are removed it dies


If your jumping Fromm battery to battery it has to be the battery.if the car sat outside in cold weather for a while the battery voltage could of got low and it froze which ruins battery.

I have a 08 impala also, i have the same problem it makes two clicks when trying to start , but I got mine to start by putting in (n) neutral let it roll forward while trying to start , but I believe changing the starter will help you with your problem

08 impala car wont start radio works, lites work wont turnover @ all just clicla once


New battery will solve your problem. Battery is close to the end of its life (4-5 years). I would highly recommend changing the new maintenance free batteries at the 4 year point.

rewd wire is positive and that goes to the + battery terminal which is the larger of the two terminals and the black one to the other terminal which is smaller
