Did you install the thermostat backwards? Was the car overheating before you replaced the thermostat?

My car is over heating.. I replaced the thermosta and it is still over heating.. the next step is to replace the water pump.. I would lik a picture of the the water pump on the motor so I know where it is...

I assume you have checked the cooling system to ensure that first that it is full and second that there are no leaks. Those pesky little bypass hoses tend to go hard and split if they are over 5 years old, allowing coolant loss. The over heating could also be caused by a clogged radiator.

No heat changed thermosta what else could it be.

When engine is warm is the top radiator hose hot, can you squeeze it ?
If not then you may have a bad head gasket.
Please let me know.

Check the coolant level one more time, sounds like it could still be low.
