You may have arusted through brake line you wii have to investigate under the car to see where fluid is coming from. there are no replacement lines available unless you get one from a recycle facility (junk Yard)

Brake pedal often goes almost to floor-not spongy at all-doesn't seep if pressure constantly applied.

Hi,
Probably air in the brake system. Bleed your brakes thoroughly. Start with right rear, then left rear, then right front then left front. Maintain proper fluid level in master cylinder while bleeding. Brake pedal hieght comes from the rear brakes, as those are the longest brake lines in the system. Mike

HI, my 1993 cadillac sts brake pedal goes to the floor no brakes, and the fluid is on the driveway under the rear of my car, what happened and what to do to fix the problem.

Probably a broken brake line. Most brake and muffler shops can handle this type of repair. New line must be installed and system bled od air.

1993 Mercury Grand Marquis, Brake fluid leaking under left rear door. Brake pedal goes to floor. How can i fix this?

Hi, the reason the pedal goes to the floor is because the brake line going back to the rear axle blew, first you will need to find where the hole is and cut out the bad section, usually you can find a clean spot further down that you can cut out the bad spot. you will need to go to the parts store and get a new piece of brake line and a tubing cutter and a double flare kit. usually you can rent one of these to save money.

When i push the brake pedal the pedal goes right to the floor

Try checking if you have brake fluid . If you do then it is the master cylinder .

Brake pedal goes all the to the floor. can not

Check the reservoir to be sure the fluid is full. If not, top it off and try it again. If there's still trouble building pressure, pump the brakes a bunch of times, and then check around each wheel for fluid on the ground. If you see none, it's possible that you have a break in the line somewhere through the chassis and that the fluid is leaking out inside. If you see no evidence of leakage, and the reservoir is still full, you need a new brake master cylinder - what will have happened is that the diaphragm around the plunger inside the master cylinder (which moves through the cylinder when you push the pedal, and forces fluid out to the wheels) has a hole or tear in it, so instead of pushing the fluid out to the brakes, the plunger simply moves through the fluid. It never builds pressure, and your brakes don't work.

When apply brake car not stoping (cadillac 2001 STS car )

you need to bleed all four corners and when doing so use a hose from the bleeder valve into a clear jar half full of brake fluid. Keep The Hose Under The Level Or Air Will Get Back Into The System.
When Bleeding Close The Valve And Have Someone Push The Brake Pedal 1,2,3 Hold Then While The Person Is Still Holding The Brake Slightly Open The Valve Then Keep Doing It Until You Don't Even Get A Bubble. Do This On All 4 Wheels And You'll Be Good To Go.
The More Air That Comes Out The Harder The Pedal Will Get. Make Sure To Keep Filling The Reservoir Cause If It Empty's You'll Have To Start All Over.

Sincerely,
Michael Scott

Brake pedal will go all the way to the floor

make sure brake fluid is full. then pump brakes for one minuite check the fluid to see if it went down or stayed full. if it went down then check the system for a leak . if it stays full then you will need a new mastercylender . i dont think you have a vacum problem cause this causes a verry stiff brake pedal not one that goes to the floor
